πŸŽƒ Halloween Handwriting & Tracing - Let's Practice Our Little Fingers!

What are some ways you can practice handwriting with kindergarteners?

According to Scholastic, there are 5 simple ways to practice handwriting with kindergarteners.

  1. Make practicing fun;
  2. Encourage drawing and puzzle games;
  3. Pinpoint the problem;
  4. The right tools;
  5. Write outside the box.

With these worksheets, the children could use dough or finger paint to trace the letters after you laminate the sheets or put them in a dry erase pouch to keep them for future use.

πŸŽƒ Extend the play by:

  1. Timing yourself while filling the traceable papers;
  2. Spelling out the given words;
  3. Collect small branches outside, break them, and use them to fill the worksheets;
  4. Make dough, roll it into thin slices and then use it to make letters;
  5. Make spooky red paint from a natural food dye, and practice writing with your bloody fingers!

Have fun practicing your spooky handwriting this Halloween!🦷

PLEASE DO NOT PRINT THE FIRST PAGES OF THE WORKSHEETS

TRY TO USE DRY ERASE POCKETS SO THAT YOU DON’T WASTE PAPER AND THAT YOU CAN REUSE THE MATERIALS AGAIN.

Thank you!
