This short post will share some ideas on how you can use the Halloween Around The World – Intercultural Discussion, Description, and an Experiment: Mini-Lesson Plan ppt lesson plan to practice discussion, interculturalism and learn about Halloween customs of other cultures.

This plan does not contain the curriculum core alignment and objectives, and it is just a discussion-based PowerPoint lesson material. It does not contain an additional detailed lesson plan and you are free to use it any way you want in terms of instruction.

This lesson plan is made for non-native English speakers, 1st grade of Elementary school. It can also be used in pre-k with native English speakers.

The instructional delivery consists of the following segments:

  1. Warm-up;
  2. Presentation;
  3. Practice;
  4. Application;
  5. Assessment;
  6. Follow-up.
